The Czech opposition movement Freedom and Direct Democracy (SPD) will initiate the cancellation of the mayors and independent (Top 09 Party). Okamura said this on Tuesday in the video on the social network X, reports TASR newsletter in Prague.

Okamura: Parties collected money from corruption
“The SPD movement files a motion to cancel the Stan and Top 09 movement. The reason is the information from the ongoing court in the corruption case of the organized crime Zozimetr, in which both witnesses and defendants confirmed that both the tent and the top 09 collected considerable funds from corruption activities related to the Capital City of Prague (DPP). said Okamura.
He added that his movement would also ask the court also to check the supervising public representative in detail to what extent these parties benefited from criminal revenues and, where appropriate, issued corresponding reinsurance orders and initiated criminal proceedings. “The SPD is doing so, following the interrogations that took place yesterday and today in criminal proceedings, also in connection with the confession of actors who explicitly admitted their guilt in this corruption case,” added the SPD chief.
In the case the first confessions were heard, Redl and Dapelin refuse to blame
The court proceedings in more than three years of the old case began on Monday. The group whose boss was, according to the indictment, was the lobbyist Michal Radl, allegedly put into the leading positions of the individual departments of DPP of its people, and their task was then to identify orders suitable for influencing and asking for bribes for the award of orders or extending contracts.
The case has already been confessed by the entrepreneur and trustee of Retrár Pavel Kos, who would like to conclude an agreement on guilt and punishment. Another defendant, former IT chief in DPP Luděk Šteffel, wants to strive for this. On Monday, Redl refused to be the head of a criminal organization and confessed only to drug crime. The former deputy mayor of Prague for Stan Petr Hlubuček also refuses to blame.
