In his official X (former Twitter) account, the State Department spokesman said the United States ruled by Donald Trump restricted the movement and access of the Iranian delegation to the UN General Assembly (UN).
“We will not allow the Iranian regime for their clerical elites to shop in the United States while forcing their own people to endure poverty and serious shortages of basic needs,” replied in X the norm of the public tornado on Monday (22/9).
The resolution, signed by Secretary Marco Rubio, also limits the delegation to areas “strictly necessary to move from and to UN headquarters” only to agendas involving official business ”.
Rubio justifies the measure due to the security of Americans, which claims to be “always our priority, and the United States will not allow the Iranian regime to use the General Assembly as an excuse to travel freely in New York and promote its terrorist agenda.”
“Today’s actions reaffirm US unabase in supporting the Iranian people in their search for accountability of the regime,” today under the command of Masoud Pezeshkian.
