In the two previous editions, the export most Amazon has already moved R $ 85 million in business for companies in the region.
“We created this program to reinforce the protagonism of the Amazonian region in promoting sustainable businesses. By demonstrating that it is possible to generate export opportunities that boost forest productive chains, which strengthen local communities and promote social and economic development, the whole world further values the conservation of the Amazon. In addition to its importance for global climate balance, the region is also a strategic asset for Brazil’s economic development, capable of generating, capable of generating economic development Innovation, competitiveness and qualified insertion of the country in international markets, ”says Jorge Viana, president of Apexbrasil.

Acre at Export more Amazonia
Among the 27 companies of Acre who will participate in this edition of the program is Casa do Castanheiro, specializing in Brazil nut, which was born from the need to offer fair alternatives to extractivists from the Purus region, which covers areas of Acre and Amazonas. The company buys directly from the Amazonian producers, with points of purchase in Boca do Acre (AM) and Sena Madureira (AC), and later performs the processing of the nut. Its main differential is the appreciation of the work of extractivists and the commitment to the forest.
“The differential of Casa do Castanheiro is that we worry not only about the environment, but especially with the lives that live in the middle of the forest. Only those who live there know the real difficulties: in winter do not have access by roads and in summer have no access by rivers. So we provide assistance to our producers, seeking from governments and organizations ways to improve their life, such as photovoltaic energy, explains Eder Frank,” dos Santos Ribeiro, owner of the company.
According to him, participating in the export most Amazon has a symbolic and strategic value. “The house of the chestnut tree sees a special meaning to participate in the export more Amazonia, which is being able to take this product that comes out directly from the forest to the table of people outside Brazil. When they buy the nut, they do not buy just a superfood, they buy a story. They are taking dignity to these people and helping to preserve the environment. It is very gratifying because we can sell for a better price, for those who value our Acre,” he says.
Eder Frank also highlights the importance of international contacts generated by business rounds: “The expectation is to leave the export more Amazonia not only with sales, but also with a lot of contacts. We often find customers from other segments and we can indicate local partners, which benefits those who work with nuts and other products in the region”.
With exports already performed for Peru and the United States, through trading companies, the company also wants to reach countries such as China and India, which have great consumer potential. Casa do Castanheiro participates in different initiatives promoted by ApexBrasil, such as the International Expo Food and Expocruz fairs, as well as the Export Qualification Program (Peiex) and the Chestnut Executive Table, which aims to expand exports of this sector in the Amazon region through dialogue between companies, government and private sector support entities.
Fruit Life, on the other hand, headquartered in the Acrean capital, specializes in the production of acai pulp and derivatives. With acting focused on quality and sustainability, the brand works from harvest to the final delivery of its products, ensuring respect for the environment and generation of value to the local economy.
After participating in the Export Qualification Program (Peiex), held by Apexbrasil in the state of Acre, between 2024 and 2025, Fruit Life reaches the export more Amazon prepared to take the next step: export.
“This will be a great opportunity. We are ready for export after we have gone through the qualification offered by Apex,” says Patrícia Coelho Galdino, partner of the company. “Our expectation is to present the products, formalize proposals and walk to effect exports. The initial focus is the Latin American market,” he adds.
International connection
All companies participating in the program will be face to face with 25 international buyers from South Africa, Bulgaria, Chile, China, United Arab Emirates, Ecuador, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Japan, Mozambique, Italy, the Netherlands, Peru, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the United States and Russia. Potential importers were invited by Apexbrasil’s international offices to participate in business rounds and will also have an immersive experience in the region, visiting food industries and extractive communities.
“When approaching international buyers to the Amazonian reality, we show that the region products carry much more than quality: they represent ways of life compatible with the forest and support thousands of families living from it. When these importers know the production processes and the people involved, they realize that each closed business here has a positive impact on the forest and the lives of people who live it and keep it,” says the office representative, “says the office representative,” says the office representative, “says the office representative,” says the office representative, “says the office representative,” says the office representative, “says the office representative,” says the office representative, ” Northern Regional of APEXBRASIL, Pedro Netto.
