Kigali-The Austrian Carina Schrempf shaped the race for a long time in the WM street race of women in Kigali on Saturday. After an almost 70 kilometer long solo ride, she was caught up and had to be satisfied with 48th place. The winner was nevertheless a sensation: 24-year-old Canadian Magdeleine Vallieres prevailed after an attack in the last climb and 164.6 kilometers around Kigali in front of the New Zealander Niamh Fisher-Black and the Spaniard Mavi Garcia.
