Fair play gesture: Aves offered raincoats to Alverca fans

The meeting between Aves SAD and Alverca, taking place on the 8th round of the League, was marked not only by the result (3-1 for the Ribatejos), but also by a gesture that enchanted the fans: faced with the intense rain that fell during the game, the home team decided to distribute waterproof covers to the visiting fans who were in the open sector.

The act of fair play was highlighted on Alverca’s social networks, which made a point of publicly thanking the Avenza club for their attention and sporting spirit. On a weekend in which rain was the protagonist, solidarity was also present on the field.
