Daily is the basis of both hygiene and attractive appearance. No wonder that most of us, after waking up, automatically go to the bathroom. Fast shower, face washing, brushing teeth – we do these activities almost instinctively before we think about.
However, there is a dispute about which of the aforementioned activities should be the first – brushing teeth or cleansing the face. Some believe that this is a small thing that is irrelevant, but cosmetologists argue that it is different.
Most of us wonder what should be done first, however Experts agree: first wash your teeth, and then the face. Recently, this was explained by Paulina Zaleska, a holistic cosmetologist running the profile @inzynier_kosmetologist in social media.
She explained that this was important for the condition of the skin. The behavior of the said order allows you to keep it in good shape, reduces the risk of irritation, pimples or inflammation, because the remains of toothpaste do not have contact with the face.
Also, the well -known dendist Richard Lipari from New York believes that you should first wash your teeth, and then move on to cleansing, stoning the skin, applying serum and cream due to the composition Toothpaste (which, as you know, contains fluorine, SLS or other potentially irritating ingredients).
Toothpastes are designed to refresh the mouth and strengthen the enamel, but do not necessarily serve our complexion. In contact with a hydrolipid barrier, they often violate it and additionally dry the epidermis. They have abrasive properties to cleanse plaque, but it does not work on the face.
