The fine to the seller of langoustines shook the Slovaks: Koščová, Twiinska and Šóošová are in shock after the words of the head of the daniers: A statement worthy of “slayáda”!

The case of an operation in Kvetoslavov, whose owner received a fine of 1,500 euros for an incorrectly issued treasury document, grew into a stormy debate about the adequacy of financial management controls. The seller paid extra for banal technical deficiency, since the document was missing diacritics.

The president of the financial administration, Jozef Kiss, commented on the whole matter at a press conference, rejecting the interpretation that it was a trivial dispute about grammar. “Let’s not simplify the whole case to only softened, long and commas. It’s about compliance with the statutory requirements of the cashier’s document,” stated. At the same time, he added that the inspection in operation is still ongoing and has not yet been officially closed.

Kiss emphasized that if misconduct on the part of the controllers is proven, the financial report will draw consequences. Despite the sharp criticism of the public, he declares his friendliness. “No one intended to take down his business as it is presented in the media. The procedure was standard, just like any other inspection,” he emphasized.

The head of the bankers enriched the discussion with a controversial argument. According to him, the businessman benefited from the whole situation. “For a fine of 1,500 euros, he got an advertisement in the main news of all the televisions. His sales increased by hundreds of percent, so I think we didn’t hurt him that much in the end.” he added that the owner of the establishment has appealed against the findings so far.

A wave of criticism from famous names

Just the last one Kiss’s statement about the marketing benefit of the fine raised several celebrities from their chairswho did not hide their indignation on social networks. Singer Katka Koščová she sharply commented on the way of communication of the state institution, which she considers inappropriate. “Don’t they really have anyone at least a little bit sane in PR (public relations) at that financial report?” she asked in amazement on Instagram on Thursday.

The words of the president of the financial administration were not even appreciated to the singer Daniela Nízlova from the duo Twiins. “An expression worthy of a “slayade”. Really? Help!” she pointed out on the margin of his arguments. In her post, Nízlová used a modern slang term that refers to an extremely good performance or something stylish. To the online space brought by influencer Ema Lacová in connection with the medialized case of the sale of the area in Voderady.

She didn’t stay silent either former moderator Lenka Šóosováwhich did not hide the shock. “I don’t believe it. I don’t believe it,” she remarked to the influential man. The Slovak public has a hard time bearing the statement that a liquidation fine for missing soft drinks can be interpreted as positive advertising.
