Governor Gladson Cameli and vice-governor Mailza Assis participated this Tuesday, 7th, in the inauguration of two new buildings attached to the Acre Agricultural and Forestry Defense Institute (IDAF), in Rio Branco. The structures, one administrative and the other focused on the transport sector, were built with an investment of R$3.8 million in the agency’s own resources.

During the event, Governor Gladson Cameli made a point of highlighting Mailza’s role in state management and his leadership capacity.

“Today our vice-governor, if you will allow me, I am not anticipating any election, but it is natural to recognize the work of those who have dedicated themselves. Mailza has been a tireless partner, a woman who has called me, asked questions, shared actions and helped me govern with dedication. I am sure that she will carry out a government that will continue what is good for the State, improving what needs to be improved, with humility and putting people first place. That’s real politics,” Gladson said.

The declaration was received with enthusiasm by civil servants and leaders present, symbolizing the governor’s recognition of the vice-governor’s growing protagonism, who has traveled throughout Acre monitoring the government’s works, social programs and structuring actions.

In his speech, Mailza thanked the trust and highlighted the commitment to the sustainable development of the state. “Our Acre has a vocation for sustainable production, for caring for rural people and for protecting our forests. IDAF strengthens all of this with structure, equipment and qualified professionals. This new headquarters is a symbol of respect for employees and the appreciation of the countryside, production and health and plant safety”, he stated.

The president of IDAF, Francisco Tum, also highlighted the organization’s progress and the government’s support to strengthen the productive sector.

“We found an IDAF with many difficulties, but with work and responsibility we restructured the body throughout the state. We invested in renovations, equipment, technology and the development of employees. Today, the IDAF is stronger and prepared to serve the Acre producer with quality”, he declared.

The new facilities offer air-conditioned, modern and accessible environments, with an electrical and logical network prepared to meet technological demands, in addition to common areas and spaces designed to guarantee comfort, ergonomics and safety.
