A school transport vehicle was involved in an accident on the morning of Tuesday (7) on Avenida Amazonas, in Epitacioland, interior of Acre. Security cameras recorded the moment when the car invades the opposite when trying to perform a continuous track overtaking – a maneuver prohibited by the Brazilian Traffic Code (CTB).
According to the images, a cattle truck was driving towards downtown/Ponte and stopped to allow the passage of a bitrem trailer that came in the opposite direction, due to another vehicle parked on the road. At this moment, the school utility tried to surpass on the left, precisely at a cross. Upon noticing the trailer approaching, the driver tried to access a side street of bricks, but when he came across a standstill motorcycle, he deflected sharply and eventually collided with an outdoor pole.

Audios released on social networks point out that the man caught in the images would not be the driver responsible for the school vehicle. After the accident, another man arrives at the scene on a motorcycle, takes the steering wheel of the car and leaves the area, while the first climbs on the bike and also leaves the scene.
To date, there is no information about injured, nor confirmation if the vehicle belongs to the City Hall of Epitaciolândia or the State Government. There is also no record of the case in the police organs. The circumstances of the accident must be investigated to identify those responsible.
