In a response sent to Lusa, the PGR explained that “the Superior Council of the Public Ministry analyzed the issue and decided to proceed with the opening, under the terms of article 264 of the Statute of the Public Ministry, of an investigation process”.

In a written response, Ivo Rosa explained that he is currently aware of the existence of three inquiries“according to what appears to be all archived”, according to information obtained “following a request addressed to the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Supreme Court of Justice”.
“I am still awaiting information from the PGR on the total number (and which) of investigations opened by the MP targeting me”, added the magistrate, who also said that he had requested access to them and that he is still awaiting a “response from the Attorney General’s Office at the Supreme Court of Justice to this request”.
