Two-year-old boy disappears in Tibagi (PR) and baby bottle is found in river

The Civil Police are investigating the disappearance of Arthur da Rosa Carneiro, aged 2, which occurred this Thursday (9), in Tibagi, Paraná.

According to the Fire Department, at 11:30 am yesterday (9), they received a call and four soldiers and a dog were deployed. The site is located in a forested area, close to the Tibagi River. Around 4pm on the same day, firefighters found a baby bottle in the river.

The search efforts are supported by sniffer dogs, divers and drones equipped with thermal cameras, as well as sonars and other resources.

Witnesses and family members are being interviewed and the police team analyzes images from video surveillance cameras in the region.

A team from the Paraná Civil Police Missing Children Investigation Service is traveling from Curitiba to Tibagi to assist in the investigation.

Arthur’s disappearance was reported on Amber Alert, which is an urgent alert system activated to allow rapid communication through social media.
