The Luz Universal Christian Lighting Center – Alto Santo, one of the most important religious and cultural landmarks in Acre, celebrated the completion of works to revitalize its sacred space, in Rio Branco. The interventions included solid brick paving, the construction of sidewalks around the lagoon, the construction of an enclosure wall, the installation of a portico with a guardhouse at the entrance and the implementation of a modern solar energy system, which will ensure greater sustainability for the site.
The ceremony was attended by the acting governor, Mailza Assis, secretary Sula Ximenes, godmother Peregrina Gomes Serra and former federal deputy Perpétua Almeida, author of the R$900,000 parliamentary amendment that made the project viable.

During the event, authorities and community members highlighted the importance of preserving the legacy of Mestre Raimundo Irineu Serra, founder of Alto Santo and reference of the Daime movement. Officially recognized as Historical and Cultural Heritage of the State and Municipality of Rio Branco, the space remains a symbol of faith, tradition and Amazonian identity.
