US President Donald Trump would consider allowing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to resume fighting in the Gaza Strip if the Palestinian militant movement Hamas refuses to honor its part of the cease-fire agreement. Trump said so on Wednesday to CNN, adding that Israeli troops could return to Palestinian streets “as soon as I say the word,” reports TASR.

“What’s going on with Hamas will be resolved quickly.” Trump said. CNN recalls that Israel accuses the Palestinian group of violating the agreement by not handing over the bodies of all the remaining hostages.
According to the fourth point of Trump’s peace plan for Gaza, Hamas was supposed to hand over the hostages alive and dead within 72 hours of the end of the fighting. This deadline expired on Monday at noon. But Hamas has not returned all the remains and says it is having trouble finding the bodies of the hostages.
Since Friday, October 10, when the ceasefire in the war with Israel came into force, Hamas commandos have already killed at least 33 people in the Gaza Stripmostly members of rival groups or persons accused of collaborating with Israel.
