Rodrigo Pantera made history last Saturday by becoming champion of the amateur category of the Classic Physique Open C and “Overall”, a title awarded to the consolidated winner of all subcategories, of the fifth edition of Mr. Olympia Brasil. With this achievement, the Bahian secured his Pro Card, a certification that allows him to compete in the main international bodybuilding tournaments.

Pantera also said that one of his biggest dreams within the sport is to go head to head with Acreian Ramon Dino, current winner of Mr. Olympia, the most important title in the category. “Every athlete has the intention of winning. I’m not saying that I’m going to beat Ramon. I’m saying that I can compete with him. We’re going to have a dispute in which only the referee will decide who the champion is. But I’m a big fan of Ramon. God willing, one day I’ll be on his side competing in that Olympia representing Brazil as he represents it today.”
Born in a village of Brejões, in the interior of Bahia, Pantera came from humble origins. Before bodybuilding, he worked in street markets for five years, worked as a bricklayer and market stocker. His healthy body and disciplined training began to attract attention on social media, where the athlete has almost six million followers on TikTok.
“I spent five years working at the fair, then I worked as a bricklayer and replenisher at the market. After that, I decided to follow my career, with faith and courage, and today I live what I always wanted: to be an athlete and influencer”, Pantera told ge, moments before taking the stage at Mr. Olympia Brasil 2025.
Unlike most fitness influencers, Rodrigo does not have million-dollar contracts with supplement brands and maintains a simple routine, showing his humble daily routine and the dedication necessary to maintain more than 100kg of muscle mass.
“Saying that I’m making a living from this is very gratifying because it wasn’t easy to get here. I want to reach even higher. God willing, I’ll achieve it, and I believe it”, added the athlete.
