Débora Bloch says she doesn’t “give a clean sheet” to Odete: “Horrible human being”

Deborah Bloch talked about the success of Odete Roitman with the public when participating in “Altas Horas”, shown on Saturday night (18). The villain of “Anything goes” commented on the character’s challenges and whether or not he agrees with her attitudes in the remake written by Manuela Dias.

“I might not have gotten it right, we never know. It was a responsibility because the Beatriz [Segall] did brilliantly [o papel]. But the affection I’m receiving from people is really cool. Now no one calls me Deborah anymore. I have friends who arrive at the party and say: ‘Hi Odete’. I’m ready now, people just call me Odete”, she laughs.

The actress analyzed the success that villains have with the public. “I think there’s a fetish, I don’t know… it causes a catharsis in people. You can identify with the evil. I don’t give up on Odete Roitman. I think she is a horrible human being. An authoritarian, narcissistic woman thinks she buys everything for money. She’s fascinated by power.”

Even though the program was recorded before the last chapter with the revelation that , she commented on it, citing . “They didn’t think she should die, but that she should be punished. Which is interesting, right? Even though people like the character, they understand that she has to be punished and that she’s not a nice person,” he added.
