New video of the Louvre robbery shows the thieves escaping in a crane

New images released by the newspaper Le Parisien show the impressive moments in which the robbers at the Louvre Museum, in Paris, flee the place in a crane, after a robbery worthy of cinema.

The group, which is still on the run, needed just seven minutes, a forklift and a scooter to carry out the coup and disappear with eight priceless objects belonging to the collection of Napoleon and former French kings.

In one of the videos now made public, it is possible to see two of the thieves descending the south facade of the museum, next to the River Seine, using a freight elevator attached to a crane. One of them, disguised in a worker’s vest, quickly jumps onto a motorbike, presumably a T-Max, where he is met by an accomplice. A few seconds later, both accelerate and disappear from the scene.
