City Hall follows State decision and changes Public Servants Day holiday; understand

The City of Rio Branco published a decree this Friday (24), in the edition of the Official State Gazette (DOE), which transfers the public servant’s day holiday, celebrated on October 28.

With the change, the holiday will be celebrated on Friday (31), providing a long weekend for public servants.

“Municipal secretaries and Public Administration authorities are authorized to summon their employees to normal working hours, due to service needs, on days declared as optional, with employees who come to work during this period being exempt from the respective compensation”, says the decree.

The State Government will also apply the same change.
