Drink this tea in the evening. You will get rid of flatulence and your intestines will thank you

Bloating or intestinal problems can affect our health – in such a case, it is worth reaching for teas that will reduce the symptoms. However, if these problems appear frequently and are accompanied by other symptoms, a consultation with a specialist is necessary to diagnose the cause and introduce appropriate treatment or changes in diet.

Tea in the evening, especially in the autumn and winter, is a very good choice that will hydrate the body, help you fall asleep and warm you up. You can choose different types, but if you want to forget about flatulence, it is worth choosing herbal drinks, in particular, focusing on mint and fennel. These types of ingredients have a beneficial effect on the digestive system and facilitate falling asleep. Why is it worth using them?

  • Mint — both dried and fresh tea has a soothing effect on the intestines, thus relieving flatulence and improving metabolism, which helps cleanse the body. It also has a diuretic effect. You can find mint teas in stores.
  • Fennel — it has an antispasmodic effect, which reduces the symptoms associated with intestinal spasm, including: flatulence. It also facilitates the removal of gases and intestinal peristalsis. In stores you can also find herbal tea based on this ingredient.

By preparing tea based on these two herbs before bed, you can improve your intestinal function and reduce digestive system problems, which will also improve your sleep and general well-being.

To prepare tea, you need fennel sachets (they can be found in most grocery or herbal stores) and mint sachets or fresh leaves from the bush. Add a sachet of dill and mint or approximately 4 mint leaves to 500 ml of boiled water. We leave it to brew for a quarter of an hour. Then take out the sachets and leaves – you can strain the drink. Tea should be drunk about an hour – half an hour before bedtime.

This tea may not be to everyone’s taste, you can add half a teaspoon of honey to sweeten it and improve its taste – when the tea is lukewarm. This type of drink will ensure proper functioning of the intestines and good sleep. In the case of pregnant women, it is worth consulting a doctor about introducing such a drink into the diet.
