On a morning marked by emotion and recognition, deputy Adailton Cruz presided this Friday (24) at a Solemn Session at the Legislative Assembly of Acre (Aleac) in celebration of the 69th anniversary of the Rio Branco Urgency and Emergency Hospital (HUERB) — the capital’s traditional Emergency Room. The initiative, proposed by the parliamentarian, aimed to celebrate the trajectory of the hospital unit, recognize its historical importance in the public health network and honor the professionals who dedicate their lives to caring for the population of Acre.

The event brought together authorities, active employees, retirees, representatives of the State Government and parliamentarians, in an environment of gratitude and appreciation for those who, on a daily basis, work on the front lines of public health. For deputy Adailton Cruz, the date does not just represent the anniversary of an institution, but the celebration of a history built with collective effort, overcoming and love for others. In his speech, the parliamentarian highlighted that HUERB is a symbol of resistance and commitment to life, especially in the face of the countless challenges faced over the decades.

A career health worker, Adailton Cruz also highlighted his pride in having part of his professional career linked to the hospital. He recalled that it was in the Emergency Room that he learned, in practice, the true meaning of serving the population, facing intense journeys and daily challenges with the same purpose: ensuring dignified care for those who need it most.
