A Brazilian who was among the deportees brought back to Brazil on a flight from the United Stateswas reported missing after disembarking in the city of Confins (MG), being admitted to a UPA (Emergency Care Unit), and fleeing the scene this Saturday (25).
According to the MDHC (Ministry of Human Rights and Citizenship), Iago Queiroz Costa, aged 32,
“At the time, it was identified that Iago showed signs of a psychotic break and delusions, although without immediate risk to himself or others”, informs the ministry.
After evaluation, the Superintendency of the Ministry of Health in Minas Gerais advised SAMU to be called and the man was then taken to the UPA in Vespasiano, where he was admitted.
This Saturday morning (25), MDHC attempted to contact the unit, which reported that Iago had been sought for assistance, but fled during the early hours of the morning.

The searches are carried out by the Civil Police of Minas Gerais. The MDHC also informed the Public Ministry, the Public Defender’s Office of the State of Minas Gerais and the Federal Attorney’s Office for Citizen’s Rights about the case.
