The president of ,, stated that the country has tested a new nuclear-powered cruise missile, which should soon be deployed in the armed forces’ arsenal. “The missile was designed to confuse existing defenses,” Putin said in a statement on Sunday.
A video published by shows Putin meeting with senior Russian military commands, such as General Valery Gerasimov, chief of the Russian General Staff. Gerasimov told Putin that the Burevestnik traveled 14,000 kilometers and spent 15 hours in the air, in a test carried out last Tuesday. “That’s not the limit,” said the general.
