During last Saturday’s edition, October 25th, of the legendary Baja Portalegre, a pilot and his co-pilot were saved by a group of people after suffering a violent crash followed by overturning. The moment, recorded on video, shows several people joining forces to turn the jeep around and place it back on the muddy trail, allowing both occupants to get out safely.
The 39th edition of the bp Ultimate Baja Portalegre 500, organized by the Automóvel Club de Portugal (ACP), remains the most prestigious national off-road event. The event, which counts towards the FIA Bajas World Cup and the FIA Bajas European Cup, brings together thousands of fans who spread across the demanding routes of Alto Alentejo and Ribatejo.
