“What am I doing wrong?” Sandra Silva opens up about “mother guilt”

Sandra Silva used her Instagram account over the weekend to share with her fans an outburst about the “mother’s guilt” she has felt in recent days, reporting on some of her three-year-old son Vasco’s behavior.

The digital influencer explained that her husband, João Borges, has been working away and that, due to this absence, their son has been “more irritated, more impatient, more aggressive” and saying words that have made her “sad”.

“Since yesterday, I’ve been feeling horrible mother’s guilt. An inexplicable pain that has already made me cry, question and call João in a panic. “What am I doing wrong?” I told him”he began by admitting it.

And then shared: “João went to work on Wednesday and Vasco immediately feels this, he becomes more irritated, more impatient, more aggressive and says things that make me really sad, when I’m giving 200% to make everything go well. Then I get sad, and he gets even sadder. And today I feel like I’m at my limit, really”.

Sandra Silva also highlighted the fact that she is living at home with her parents, also remembering some of the challenges she had to face during this year (), and ended with a message, especially to all the mothers and fathers who are also “down”.

“(…) This post is to say that even though we are more incredible, these moments when we feel like shit and just want to escape also exist. 2025 is being THE year of transformation. I didn’t even know I had so much strength. And I love it so much and I just want everything to be okay. And it is. Even if sometimes it doesn’t seem like it”he wrote, finally.
