It was around a month ago that tens of thousands of people took to the streets to demand higher education. The rectories called for an increase in the university budget to at least 18 billion euros in the upcoming performance agreements for the years 2028 to 2030. The head of the university conference, Brigitte Hütter, announced further actions and the exit from the university strategy process.
