The Austrian Ski Association (ÖSV) gave some thought over the summer. At the start of the season in Sölden, participants were invited to a fireside chat to find out how they want to reconnect with times long gone, when Austria was the number one skiing nation. A certain fire, an anticipation of the start of the season, could be felt in the Hotel Central; the fireplace was not yet in operation, instead flames blazed on a laptop.
