Dânia Neto was moved when remembering the moment of terror he experienced during a robbery at his home. The “The Inheritance” actress revealed that the thieves took everything they owned, leaving the family in shock and the children in despair.
With tears in her eyes, Dânia admitted that the episode made her relive the trauma of 2015, when she was also the victim of a robbery on Christmas Eve. “The feeling of invasion, of injustice, of opening an old wound… I had already experienced this ten years ago. They entered my house and took everything”, he recalled.
Despite the pain, the actress made a point of highlighting what really matters: “They didn’t take the most important thing, our life, our essence, what we are. No matter how many times life pulls the rug out from under me, I’ll be here to stand up with dignity, as I’ve always done.”
His biggest concern, he confessed, is his children, Salvador, six years old, and António Maria, two years old. “My heart broke seeing my eldest son’s despair at seeing me in tears. It’s very hard.”
Still, Dânia remains firm and confident: “We will rebuild everything again. But I realized that material things don’t matter. The essential thing is to have health, love and strength to start over.”
