A start of smoke on a public transport bus caused panic among passengers this Wednesday morning (29), at the Rio Branco Urban Terminal.

Images recorded by members of the public show the vehicle surrounded by smoke and people leaving the scene in a hurry. In the video circulating on social media, you can hear the despair of a woman asking for renewal of the municipal fleet while passengers run off the bus.
The incident occurred in a vehicle on the Belo Jardim 2 line. Despite the scare, the flames did not spread, and no one was injured.
According to the mechanic responsible for the service, the smoke was caused by the bursting of an air compressor pipe, which generated alarm among passengers and those in the terminal. The problem was controlled on site and the vehicle was collected for maintenance.
