LASK has continued its upswing under Dietmar Kühbauer in the ÖFB Football Cup. The Linz team defeated second division club Stripfing 2-0 (1-0) in the round of 16 on Tuesday and celebrated their third win in their third game under the new coach. Blau-Weiß Linz won against TSV Hartberg on penalties 5:4 (2:2,1:1,1:0). SCR Altach beat second division team Kapfenberg 3-1 (1-1, 0-0) after extra time.
