The Minister of Justice and Public Security, Ricardo Lewandowskiannounced, this Thursday (30), that it will send ten to 20 experts from National Force to the state of Rio de Janeiro. The measure was reported to the governor Claudio Castro (PL), according to the folder.
The action takes place due to the mega-operation that took place in the capital of Rio de Janeiro, .
This is the first announced action of the , which was announced last Wednesday (29), at Palácio da Guanabara.
“The experts sent to the state will support state security forces in areas such as analysis of crime scenes, ballistics, forensic genetics for DNA identification, forensic medicine, ballistics examinations, necropsy, identification of bodies, among others”, explains the ministry in a note.
Named Operation Containment, the action involved around 2,500 agents from the Civil and Military Police, with the aim of stopping the territorial advance of the CV (Red Command) and serving around 100 arrest warrants in the Alemão and Penha complexes.
Among the targets, 30 were from other states, including members of the faction from Pará.
