New Delhi – At least nine people were crushed to death in a mass crowd at a Hindu temple in the southern Indian state of Andhra Pradesh on Saturday. State Governor S. Abdul Nazeer expressed deep sadness over the deaths of the nine pilgrims. The accident occurred at the Venkateswara Temple in Kasibugga in Srikakulam district where a large number of devotees had gathered.
