Sulden – An avalanche accident occurred on Saturday afternoon above Sulden in South Tyrol: A group of five winter sports enthusiasts were hit and swept away by an avalanche in the Ortler area. For three of them, any help came too late – they could only be rescued dead. According to the Italian news agency AGI, the victims, two young men and a young woman, are German mountaineers.
