The actor from Rio Sacha Bali44 years old and 1.81m, will face David Brito in the co-main event of Fight Music Show 7at 0:50 am (Brasília time) this Sunday (02/11), at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, in São Paulo (SP). It will be Sacha’s first official boxing fight.
Sacha underwent intense preparation, training two to four times a day and adopting a strict diet, which included stopping smoking and cutting out alcohol, cigarettes and even rice. As a result, he lost 11 kilos, reaching 77 kg.
The actor has practiced martial arts since childhood – capoeira, taekwondo, judo and jiu-jitsu, in which he achieved his purple belt –, but guarantees that he will not seek a career as a professional fighter after the duel against Davi Brito:
– I don’t intend to be an athlete or fighter. I saw the invitation as an adventure, but with a lot of discipline. The biggest challenge is with myself: training every day and arriving prepared.
Graduated in Cinema from PUC-Rio and in Dramatic Arts, Sacha has an established career on TV and theater, with roles in soap operas such as Hail Jorge, Paths of the Heart, Rare Jewel, Genesis e Beyond Illusion.
In December 2024, he won the 16th edition of The Farmearning R$2 million, part of which he used to buy an apartment for his mother and renovate his own property.
The rivalry with Davi Brito gained strength during the first press conference, on October 6, when the ex-BBB man pushed Sacha. Last Friday (10/31), Davi pushed Sacha again and slapped the actor in the face, who did not retaliate, but promised revenge in the fight.
– The beating will eat in the ring. But more and more, he (David) has been demonstrating that he is not a true person. He’s a character, he’s a braggart. I’m not here to put on a freak show. I’m here to do a martial art fight – said Sacha.
