Chamber of Commerce approves wage increase above inflation – what’s behind it


The KV deals have been in the media since September. Now the wage increases in the Chamber of Commerce have also become known. The institution that negotiates most of the KV contracts as an employer representative. At 4.2 percent, the increase is above the inflation rate of 3.5 percent. An unusually high level these days, but recently calls for wage restraint have been making the rounds. The metal workers had to be content with 1.41 percent, civil servants with 1.5 percent. Many other industries have completed their wage increases below the inflation rate. How come Chamber of Commerce employees graduate so much higher?
