Marco Costa will resign from his mandate, for which he was sworn in last week. He must appear before the judge today.
PS municipal deputy Marco Costa, re-elected in the last local elections for the Setúbal Municipal Assembly, was arrested on Saturday for robbery on public roads.
The news was reported by the newspaper, which states that Marco Costa will resign from his mandate, for which he was sworn in last week.
“This is a case that has nothing to do with politics, nothing to do with political action. It is a family and personal drama. (…) We were all taken by surprise. We deeply regret the personal and family drama”, said socialist councilor Fernando José, quoted by the Lusa agency.
The still socialist municipal deputy is expected to appear before the judge this Monday.
