In the first six months of this year, Portuguese authorities seized more than nine tons of cocaine. This is an increase compared to the same period in 2024.
Drug seizures continue to increase in Portugal. The Judicial Police, in cooperation with the Navy, GNR and the Maritime Analysis and Operations Center, carried out more anti-trafficking operations during the first half of 2025.
