Former Czech President Miloš Zeman was hospitalized in the Prague University Hospital in Motola, where he is undergoing an important examination. This is his second hospitalization in a short time, writes TASR, according to the Novinky.cz portal.
“The family will comment on the current state of health of the former president within a week,” informed Luboš Procházka from the Olympia publishing house, which publishes Zeman’s books. He added that the ex-president was taken to the hospital by his driver on Monday morning.
Zeman also mentioned the planned examination on his Facebook profile. “I recently underwent the necessary medical procedure and in the next few days I have another planned examination at the hospital. However, I feel better and the treatment continues as expected,” he wrote.
Not long ago, Zeman was hospitalized for an acute operation for an abscess that had formed on his back. Due to the subsequent convalescence, he did not even participate in the presentation of state awards on October 28 at Prague Castle.
