You won’t need complicated ingredients to make dumplings with kebab filling. To prepare the dough, we only need 400 g of wheat flour, 150 ml of warm water, half salt and 1 egg. In order to prepare the stuffing, you need products such as:
- 300 g mixed minced meat,
- 1 onion,
- 2 cloves of garlic,
- 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper,
- 1.5 teaspoons of gyros/kebab spices,
- 0.5 teaspoon of hot pepper,
- vegetable oil for frying,
- sun,
- pepper.
The first step, of course, is to prepare the dough. To do this, sift the flour into a bowl, add the egg and salt and gradually pour in the water. Then we knead our dough until it becomes elastic. Set them aside for 20-30 minutes covered.
During this time we can prepare the stuffing. Chop the garlic and onion finely and fry them in oil until the onion is translucent. Add minced meat and fry everything until ready. Season the mixture with hot and sweet peppers, gyros seasoning, as well as salt and pepper.
Then roll out the dough and cut out discs with a diameter of about 7 cm. Place a teaspoon of filling on each of them and seal the edges. Throw the dumplings into salted boiling water and cook for about 3-4 minutes from the moment they float to the surface of the water..
