The number of victims of the fire that broke out in a nursing home in the city of Tuzla in the northeast of Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday evening has increased to at least eleven. Another 30 people were injured, writes TASR based on a report from the AP agency.

The cause of the fire is unclear
It is still unclear what caused the fire on the 7th floor of the building. According to local media, the upper floors of the complex were occupied by elderly people who could not move independently or were ill.
Injuries among rescuers
The mayor of the city, Zijad Lugavič, said that among the injured were firefighters and paramedics. He added that authorities have called an emergency meeting on Wednesday to assess the situation.
