A fire in a nursing home in Bosnia and Herzegovina had tragic consequences. The accident left at least ten dead and twenty injured.

Late on Tuesday, a fire broke out in a nursing home in the city of Tuzla in northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina, the local police reported. It claimed at least ten victims and 20 wounded, writes TASR based on the AP and AFP agencies.

Media images from the scene of the accident showed a fire on one of the floors. Firefighters evacuated the building, AP reports.

“Unfortunately… ten residents died and around 20 were injured,” the nursing home confirmed in an official statement.
