Google seems to want to leave an era of legal disputes behind it. After the company has resisted further opening up the Play Store to third-party providers for years, there is now a surprising turnaround: Google has apparently agreed on new rules with the game manufacturer Epic Games, and in return the ongoing lawsuits will be stopped. Epic boss Tim Sweeney and Android boss Sameer Samat announced this with unusual unity.
