The new party in Belgium is called TRUMP

Donald Trump, President of the USA

Tous Réunis pour l’Union des Mouvements Populistes. Because the US president “is the ultimate symbol of populism”.

Herman José even created, in his own right, the Party of the Independent Democratic and Anarchist Left.

Almost 30 years ago, another interesting acronym appeared in the name of a (real) party, this time clearly – and openly – inspired by the US president.

All United for the Union of Populist Movements (All United for the Union of Populist Movements) is the name of the party most recent in Belgium.

If we add the first letters of the main words, there it is: TRUMP.

“Donald Trump is the ultimate symbol of populism. He immediately embodies what we stand for“, explained founder Salvatore Nicotra, in the BRUZZ news agency cited in .

The party is French-speaking, far-right, and is the successor of the Chez Nous political movement (which has since dissolved) and the National Front party, in Belgium.

TRUMP does not want Flemish separatism, unlike Vlaams Belang, the largest far-right party in Belgium. This new party has a unitary view: “We are a right-wing populist party with a social bent.”

One of the members of the TRUMP executive committee is Emanuele Licari, who ran for Vlaams Belang in Brussels, but was removed after openly glorifying fascism.

TRUMP wants to be on the ballot in the federal and European elections, both in 2029. Local elections are also a possibility.

The official launch of TRUMP will be on November 30th.
