Andrei Rodrigues and Minister of Finance criticized reports by deputy Guilherme Derrite (PP-SP); Chamber must analyze text this Wednesday
The director general of the (Federal Police), Andrei Rodrigues, met with the Minister of Finance, this Wednesday (12.Nov.2025). The meeting is held after the two criticize changes to the (bill) proposed by the rapporteur, federal deputy (PP-SP). The text must be voted on in the Chamber this Wednesday (Nov 12).
On Tuesday afternoon (Nov 11), Haddad stated that, in addition to weakening the Federal Police, Derrite’s previous report limited the actions of the Federal Revenue Service. The minister argued that the text benefits the fuel mafia and opens the door to organized crime. According to him, the deputy did not speak with the president’s government (PT) to prepare the opinion. The director of the PF also approved the bill.
The statements were made before Derrite’s retreat, which, in a 3rd version of the report, presented on Tuesday night (Nov 11), removed the equation between faction crimes and acts of terrorism, provided for in the Anti-Terrorism Law (), and the section that conditioned the PF’s actions to the authorization of the governors.
