“Endless and unjust wars are over.” Maduro asks the US to “unite for peace on the continent”

Tension between the United States and Venezuela continues without easing. The US Department of Justice accuses the Venezuelan president of leading a drug trafficking cartel and is reinforcing US troops on the border. Nicolas Maduro, in turn, says that the focus is on unity and calls for peace.
