Washington/London – The BBC management still sees a threatened lawsuit from US President Donald Trump as a hopeless endeavor. A lot is being written, said and speculated about the possibility of legal action, wrote the chairman of the British broadcaster’s supervisory board, Samir Shah, to the staff. But nothing has changed in our own position: “There is no basis for a defamation lawsuit and we are determined to fight it.”
