Vienna – Johanna Rachinger will no longer return to her role as general director and scientific director of the Austrian National Library (ÖNB) from her current sick leave. The consequences of a fall injury suffered in August do not allow him to return in the foreseeable future, it was said on Thursday. Culture Minister Andreas Babler (SPÖ) dismissed her at the request of the ÖNB board of trustees.
