Vienna – The coalition parties ÖVP, SPÖ and Neos made another appeal on Friday to the opposition parties FPÖ and Greens to agree to the planned electricity market reform. At least one of the two must agree with the government factions, as the so-called cheaper electricity law requires a two-thirds majority in the National Council. We are hoping for “positive feedback” by the economic committee meeting next Tuesday, said ÖVP energy spokeswoman Tanja Graf.
