They are commonplace in South America and are also part of the usual traffic scene in parts of Asia: sleeper buses that carry passengers lying down through the night. They cover distances of over 1,000 kilometers between Buenos Aires and Mendoza, and they are an integral part of long-distance transport in Vietnam or India.
