Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitchell, filed a lawsuit against two of his daughter’s friends, who auctioned off around 150 objects that had belonged to the young British singer — including the bamboo dress which he used on his last tour.
The singer’s father Amy Winehousewho died tragically in 2011, took legal action against two of her daughter’s friends, demanding money from them, after they sold several of the artist’s clothes at auction, raising around 835 thousand euros.
Mitchell Winehousewho claims the money should have gone to her family and a foundation dedicated to the singer’s memory, filed the lawsuit at London’s High Court on Monday.
According to the AFP agency, the artist’s father accuses Naomi Parrythe singer’s former stylist, and Catriona Gourlaywho shared a house with Winehouse, of having appropriate of your personal assets.
According to Mitchell Winehouse’s lawyer, Henry Leggebetween November 2021 and May 2023 the two women auctioned around 150 objects which belonged to the performer of “Back to Black”, including the dresses used on their last tour, in June 2011.

Catriona Gourlay and Naomi Parry met Amy Winehouse in the early 2000s, before she became a global star.
Naomi Parry, who became his stylist, created some of the stage pieces the singer’s best-known songs, such as bamboo dress yellow and black that Amy wore on her last tour. This specific piece sold in 2021 for $245,000, about 209 thousand euros.
