Rua Direita, in the center of Portimão, will gain new dynamics again next Sunday, December 14th with the InDireita Street Fest, in what will be the sixth and final edition of the year.
According to the Municipality of Portimão, music, dance, artistic and sporting activities, sales of local products and gastronomic offerings will transform the artery “into a car-free artery with a community spirit”.

Organized by the Palco das Ondas Invisíveis Studio (POIS) association, the festival returns once again to convert this iconic street “into a true open-air stage”, where everyone is invited to celebrate the end of 2025 “with good energy and lots of entertainment”.
The program starts with performances by Coro da Aldeia, musician Zé Cantigas and fado singer Katrina Cand, before the atmosphere intensifies with the rock of Josephine Nightingale, Green Leather and Wildchains on the main stage, guaranteeing “an afternoon and night full of sound and vibration”.
The municipality also highlights a debut in this edition: the Dancenema association presents itself for the first time at InDireita, bringing two dance shows that promise to surprise the public. The sports component will also be present with the skate ramp promoted by the Núcleo de Skate association, which will promote “free classes, an ‘open contest’ and a lot of team spirit on wheels”.

Younger children will be able to try tile painting workshops, while adults will have access to a new construction workshop. “Traditional games, interactive art and the fun ‘Alien Contest’”, the winning design of which will come to life in the next edition, are also part of the program.
The event will also feature craft markets, organic fruit and vegetables throughout the morning, as well as local shops open throughout the day, in an ideal environment for strolling, socializing and doing the last shopping of the year.

Since 2024, InDireita Street Fest has established itself as a community culture project that transforms the heart of the city. One of the most striking interventions resulted from the “Cidade a Cores” project, developed in 2024 and which “will be inaugurated in this edition”. Some of the artists involved in painting the 11 km of the Accessible Route will be present at the festival to present their works and publicize what the municipality describes as “the first thematic route developed by the association”.
In the last of the four editions in 2025, InDireita states that InDireita will take to the streets “the best of local production, art and talent”, elements that, he emphasizes, “give color to the city”, contributing to a memorable day.
