Like last season, Flock triumphs in Lillehammer

Lillehammer – Janine Flock won a race in the Skeleton World Cup on Friday for the 14th time in her career. The 36-year-old Tyrolean was already in the lead after the first run in Lillehammer and ultimately prevailed ahead of the British Tabitha Stoecker (+0.18 seconds) and the Belgian Kim Meylemans (+0.25). She successfully defended her title and not only won another World Cup victory in Lillehammer in February, but also won European Championship gold.
